Step 4: Dry & Finish Lay the faux fur item flat in its natural shape on a drying rack or hang to dry. Do not put it in the dryer, ever! The heat will cause the synthetic fibers to warp and melt. Use a wide-tooth comb or wire brush to gently detangle and brush the faux fur as needed. To remove wrinkles and refresh, we recommend steaming for the best and safest finish. If you don't have a steamer, you can use the iron by hovering over the item using the steam setting. Step 5: Store Always store faux fur items clean.
