When will my order be dispatched?
After your payment is verified, it takes up to 23 hours to process and ship your order. This does not include weekends or holidays. Purchases made after 10.30am will not not shipped out until the next business day. If you order after 10.30 am on a Friday, your order will likely be shipped out on the following Monday.
Will I have to pay international taxes and duties ?
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. The amount for duties and taxes varies by country and is a percentage of the sterling amount of the merchandise. You should contact your customs office for specific amounts and percentages.
The Big Little Duvet Company Ltd cannot control and it is not responsible for any duties/taxes applied to your package. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Note , in rare occasions custom agents may delay delivery of some packages.

If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us immediately by email - hello@biglittleduvet.com. Once the warehouse has processed your order, we will be unable to make any changes.

What size is a long single duvet?
Our duvets and duvet covers all measure 220cms x 165cms
How big is a single duvet? (Sometimes referred to as a single quilt)

A standard sized single duvet / quilt measures 200cms x 135cms. The BLD duvet is substantially larger, both longer and wider to guarantee you a great night's sleep.
What size is a king size bed? King size duvet cover measurements
A standard sized king size bed is 200cms x 150cms (6ft 6ins long x 5ft wide)
How big is a double duvet in cms?
A standard sized double bed is 190cms x 135cms (6ft 3ins long x 4ft 6ins wide)
What is the biggest duvet size?
The biggest sized duvet and duvet cover is 200cms x 200cms ( 6ft 6ins x 6ft 6ins) this is for use on a Emperor sized bed.
Where are your duvets made?
Our duvets are manufactured in the UK andthe filling is made from 100% Hollowfibre, the cover is 50/50 Easycare Polycotton making them non allergenic and machine washable.
Do IKEA duvet covers fit normal duvets?
IKEA duvets and duvet cover sets are not made to fit UK sized beds. If you have an IKEA single bed ( 200cms x 150cms then our duvet and cover sets @ 220cms x 165cms will make a great fit.
What is a Boudoir Pillow?
A small pillow suitable for neck support and also for dressing your bed. Our pillow measures 40cms x 30cms and are made in the UK by our duvet manufacturer. The pillowcases matches our duvet cover sets.
Duvet Tog Weights
A duvet's tog rating relates to its warmth (but not its weight,which depends on filling). The higher the tog rating, the warmer the duvet, with 2.5 tog or 4.5 tog perfect for spring and summer and 10.5 tog and 13.5 tog ideal for autumn and winter. Of course some of us feel naturally warmer or colder than others,so buying the right tog weight is an individual choice.
If you want flexibility and versatility, then we have the perfect solution. You can combine our 2.5 tog super lightweight duvet in the same duvet cover with a 4.5 tog or 10.5 tog to increase your warmth in the cooler seasons.
